Westhills Kitchen

A builder-spec kitchen brightened and levelled, working around a structural post that had to stay.

The brief

This builder-special spec home in Westhills badly needed a kitchen upgrade. The owners wanted to keep the same basic layout.

What we did

We went with lighter colours to brighten the space and removed the raised bar so the counter sits at one level. A structural post couldn't be moved because of the home's design, so we planned the new kitchen around it.

The result

A brighter, simpler kitchen in the same footprint.

Scope of work

Lighter cabinet and finish colours
Removed the raised bar for a single-level counter
Designed around a fixed structural post
